New York Style with Danna Gal..!
So the night started with going to an amazing antique place, The Showplace (we are interested in furniture art and design). Danna walked us through with the owner for an after hours private tour. We felt like total VIPs. Later, we had a mouth watering dinner at ABC cocina ( Jean George’s place). During Dinner, Danna introduced us to a great Art Dealer she is friends with and created a unique work intro that will greatly affect us in the future. She is just a very classy, particular girl who is connected with lovely people. Après dinner we strolled to Mari Vanna, a beautiful Russian restaurant in the heart of Flatiron. After 10pm the front door gets locked and only those with a key can unlock and enter for a spectacular night of high end vodka selection, and a DJ in an old world Russian decor adorned with trinkets. It is as if one has walked right into an apartment in old St. Petersburg, which is exactly the point. Mari Vanna was a Russian lady that invited outsiders to her home for dinner and those that were preferred guests were given a key to come back again and again. So in New York, this is where to be on Monday Night. At this point, the vodka led us back directly to our hotel’s bed.
We highly recommend Danna and can’t wait to book her again!
