While some of the city’s younger gay set may have migrated to Hell’s Kitchen, Chelsea remains a prominent mainstay for gay nightlife in New York.

As the gay community has become less insulated however, the neighbourhood feels increasingly multicultural and with late night offerings for all, the bars and nightclubs in Chelsea are a favourite amongst hedonists of all persuasions.

As an affluent neighbourhood with prices towards the upper Manhattan ranges, it attracts a more refined crowd to its fine dining restaurants and many late night hangouts.
