As a Fixer...

Earn an extra income and make friends from around the world by showing guests to your favourite nightspots on tailor-made nights, designed by you.

It's your chance to show-off that hidden club that's rocking on a Tuesday night or the cocktail bar that no tourist would ever find. Show visitors your city's nightlife as you want it to be seen. You're representing your turf.

As a Fixer we want you to have fun as well as provide it, so you're encouraged to get into the party spirit. Innocent bystanders need not apply!

Apply

Becoming a Fixer is free, just sign up for a Zoola Fix account and complete the form at www.zoolafix.com/apply. Whether you’re a pillar of high-society or a champion of the underground, if you’re fun, savvy and well-connected, we’ll be happy to hear from you.

Applications are open to all countries but you must be either 18 or of legal drinking age in your country - whichever is the oldest. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our team for suitability. You’ll receive an email to notify you if your application was successful.

Create a profile

When first registering with Zoola Fix, a guest profile is created for you automatically. If your application to become a Fixer is successful, your guest profile will be replaced with a Fixer profile. Unlike guest profiles, Fixer profiles show up in search results and allow you to receive bookings. In order to get the most out of being a Fixer, it’s important to have a well created and accurate profile. You'll need to fill out all of the fields before it's visible to others on the site.

Photos are one of the most important aspects in helping guests chose a Fixer, so make sure yours are clear and properly proportioned. Your profile picture should only feature yourself.

It’s up to you how you set your price but it’s a good idea to start at a lower price to secure some bookings and positive reviews, then you might be able to charge a little more. 80% goes to you and 20% to Zoola Fix – we think that’s pretty fair.

Respond to guests

We'll send you an email when someone requests a booking with you – you’ll then have 24 hours to accept or decline. By reviewing guests' profiles, their reviews and asking questions, you need only accept bookings from people you feel comfortable with and on dates and times that suit you.

Sometimes potential guests will send you a message before making a booking request to make sure you're a good fit. By responding promptly they're more likely to book with you.

Planning

Once you accept a booking you can start planning their night out. Liaise with guests ahead of time to see if they have any preferences or requirements. It's best to do this using our on-site messaging system. You'll be provided with their phone number for use on the night.

On the night

This is your time to shine so make sure you bring your A-game . As well as being fun and sociable, remember to make everyone feel included. Even the best laid plans can go astray when everyone's busy having fun so remain flexible and always have a plan B.

Get it right and you'll be their hero.

Getting paid

Your guests will have pre-paid online so there's no need to worry about asking for your money or wondering when or if it'll be paid. You'll be paid electronically within 24 hours of the evening out. Everyone prefers it that way.

Writing a review

Our community is built on trust and reputation so don't forget to write a review for your guest. By leaving a review for them, you're likely to receive one in return.
